Builders of the Highway Foundation is proud to announce that we’re joining Give Miami Day 2026 to launch our year-end giving campaign — with a focus on growing two programs close to our Miami hub’s mission: our Senior Music Wellness program, and the trade program exposure we’re developing for the Miami community.
What Is Give Miami Day?
Give Miami Day is The Miami Foundation’s annual 24-hour giving event, and 2026 marks its 15th year serving South Florida. Last year alone, more than 60,000 donors came together to make over 120,000 donations, raising $43.8 million for nonprofits across Greater Miami. Every dollar donated goes directly to the nonprofit a donor chooses — unrestricted, so organizations like ours can put it where it’s needed most.
Give Miami Day 2026 takes place Thursday, November 19, with Early Giving open November 14–18 — meaning supporters can give ahead of the big day and still count toward our campaign. Donations of $25 or more are eligible for a partial match from The Miami Foundation’s bonus pool, stretching every gift further.
Growing Senior Music Wellness
Our Senior Music Wellness program brings music-based programming to older adults in the Miami community — building on the same belief that anchors Neo Jazz School of Music: that music education and engagement change lives at every age. Funds raised through Give Miami Day will help us expand this program’s reach, bringing wellness-focused music sessions to more seniors across Miami.
Building Trade Program Exposure in Miami
Miami serves as BOTH Foundation’s Economic & Philanthropic Hub, and we’re actively developing a trade and workforce exposure program to give Miami community members practical pathways into skilled trades. Give Miami Day funds raised for this initiative will go directly toward building out this program — from curriculum development to the partnerships needed to connect participants with real trade opportunities.
